The ghosts of Sadda Haq Vs. Censor Board saga last year has returned again in 2014. Upcoming Punjabi film Kaum De Heere, starring acclaimed lyricist/singer Raj Kakra has been denied a certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). In a video posted on youtube by Raj Kakra, he and director Ravinder Ravi share their disappointment over the blunt refusal by CBFC.
Earlier the title song from the film was launched which is sung and composed by Sukhshinder Shinda. It met with a limited response on youtube with less than 60,000 views in over a month but has a high ratio of likes indicating the positive response.

With over half a dozen films being made on the subject of 1984, it will be interesting to see how many films can actually win over their battles with the censor board and see a theatrical release.
