I can't really think of many stage to film adaptions in Punjabi Cinema but one film would definitely qualify for the list very soon. Stupid 7, directed by renowned theatre screenwriter/director Pali Bhupinder Singh is a screen adaption of "Me and My Story' that has been a hit on stage at various theatre festivals.
The film starring SEVEN Teen stars along with veterans such as Guggu Gill, Jaswinder Bhalla, is produced by Sandeep Kakkar and Jai Ram Kakkar under the banner of Punjabi Arts Association Of Canada and OffStage Creations.
If the theatrical trailer is to go by, one can expect a good satirical comedy with complete entertainment value for the families and kids.
