Finally the wait is over. After Gippy Grewal's Bollywood entry with Second Hand Husband, Diljit Dosanjh is all set to make his Bollywood Uddari with Udta Punjab.
Diljit Dosanjh who is the undisputed superstar in Punjabi Cinema after blockbusters like 1984 Punjab, Jatt and Juliet series has really come a long way since his debut in 2011 with Jihne Mera Dil Luteya.
In the past, Diljit Dosanjh has sung a few Bollywood songs for Yash Raj Films, TIPS and the Deols in Bollywood but this will be first time that he will be acting in a Bollywood film.
Now, the biggest news is this that not only has Diljit Dosanjh replaced the current Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan and Ayushmann Khurrana in Udta Punjab but he will be starring opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan. This is a big surprise as Diljit Dosanjh has always said that he has had a huge crush on Kareena Kapoor Khan.
Directed by Abhishek Chaubey (Ishqiya series fame), Udta Punjab also stars Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
